Shrek vs Conker (Dreamworks vs Rareware)
“I don't give a damn 'bout my bad reputation.” - Joan Jett Shrek , the grumpy all-star ogre. Conker , the squirrel who had a bad fur day. When you’re a massive media company like Disney or Nintendo, you can afford to be a bit cliche from time to time as long as it brings you those sweet greens. However, these two ill-tempered fellows act as a giant middle finger to their respective mediums to an extreme and gross extent. They’re certainly not your picture-perfect protagonists, being quite selfish and unheroic at times, but they aren’t quite as heartless as you might imagine, as when it comes to getting what they want, they’ll do anything they can to carry it out, and even learn some valuable lessons about what’s really important along the way. So what will happen when Conker takes a wrong turn into Shrek’s side of the woods? Will the ogre swamp the competition, or can the squirrel prove to be too fast and too fur-ious for this all-star?
